Our Blast rated modules are entirely designed by our UK based team and manufactured in our production facility in UAE following the guidelines of the American Petroleum Institute (API) recommended practices 752/753 . Our modules are designed to resist blast load which is a completely different type of load than that considered in a conventional design. To design a structure capable of resisting these intense but short duration loads, members and joints are permitted to deflect and strain much greater than is allowed for usual static loads.

Choices on performance criteria of the building under blast event are:-

• Low Response: Buildings can be used with minimum repairs after the blast.
• Medium Response: Damages are wide-spread and will involve significant repair costs. Building
  can be re-used with repair after the blast.
• High Response: Repair costs will become equal to fresh construction costs after the blast.
